Thanks to everyone who attended the MGT and Samsung C&T / Técnicas Reunidas presentation last week, kindly organised by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and the EIC.
The event was oversubscribed with over 190 attendees. Samsung C&T / Técnicas Reunidas gave presentations aimed at sub-contractors interested in bidding for contracts on the construction of TeesREP, along with details on the pre-qualification process and the timetable for the letting of specific sub-contract packages was provided.
Ben Elsworth, CEO of MGT Teesside and Margie Oliver of Redcar Council were also speakers. Margie highlighted the assistance that the local authorities were able to provide in funding apprenticeships and training & advice on completing tender submissions.
